The Green Brigade

Evansville North’s award-winning marching band!

 

     The Evansville North Green Brigade has established a tradition of excellence through the years.  The group has received numerous Best in Class awards and Grand Champion awards in local and regional competitions.  The Green Brigade has also received numerous Gold Division Ratings in ISSMA events, having advanced to the Regional level for 20 consecutive years!   The group has also performed for President Ronald Reagan in 1986, for the Inaugural of Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels in 2006, for the Peach Bowl in 1986, and for the nationally televised Disney Easter Parade in 1997.  The Green Brigade has performed at Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida on 10 different occasions.    Past  performances also include Bands of America events in St. Louis' TWA Dome and in Indianapolis' RCA Dome. 

 

 

 

2007 North Band Camp

 

 

 

The North Green Brigade Band Camp will be held Sunday, July 22 through Friday, July 27, 2007 again at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. All current members and incoming freshmen should reserve this week on your calendars. Band camp is THE most important week of the year due to the amount of time spent in teaching the music and the drill for our marching program. Specialized staff members are used to help teach. For these reasons, ALL MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND CAMP!   A detailed letter with daily schedule, what to bring, etc. will be mailed to each member at least 2 weeks prior to the camp.

North Band Camp

 

     Each member is required to attend Band Camp at Eastern Illinois University.  Specialized section instructors are utilized, along with parent volunteers to help provide support during the camp.  A detailed letter outlining the camp will be sent to current members as well as incoming members.  If you are able to help as a parent volunteer, or would wish to have more details, please contact us!
